ABOUT GMAV

The Global Mindanaw Agri-ventures Corporation (GMAV) is a start-up agribusiness corporation located in Gingoog City in the province of Misamis Oriental, Philippines. Formally started in 2016, GMAV provides appropriate innovations, value additions and a better market of agricultural products produced by the rural communities in the province of Misamis Oriental. As of 2018, GMAV has total assets of P 3,703,485 and it has ventured into broiler poultry production, coco sugar production, coffee processing, macapuno production, tobacco production and logistics services. The company’s head office is located at Door 3, Balay Mindanaw Kalambuan Center, Brgy. 23, Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental.


VISION, MISSION and GOALS

GMAV is a business corporation established by the Balay Mindanaw Group. The company also adopted the Balay Mindanaw Group’s vision of “Kaangayan, Kalambuan, Kalinaw…sa Mindanaw, sa Pilipinas ug Tibuok Kalibutan” (Equity, Development and Peace in Mindanaw, the Philippines and the World). However, as an agribusiness corporation, GMAV’s mission is “Transforming Agribusiness, Helping Build Enterprising Communities.”

In order to achieve this vision and mission, GMAV is always conscious of its interdependent responsibilities to customers, employees, partner community of producers, and shareholders.


From 2016 to 2018, GMAV focused on the following goals:

  • 1. Product Development:
    • To develop high market value products based on macapuno, coconut, broilers, and coffee.
  • 2. Market Development
    • To establish partnerships with institutional buyers of macapuno, coco sugar, and coffee.
  • 3. Human Resources Development
    • To build a core staff with integrity, leadership, commitment, and competence to efficiently manage and operate its enterprises.
  • 4. Systems Development
    • To develop and improve the efficiency of the management systems of the corporation, in order to attain clear targets and performance parameters.
  • 5. Financial Development
    • To have a net operating profit of P 10,000,000 at the end of 2018 and established agri-based enterprise with an ROI of 20%.
